Viewing through mist laden eyes
Outstretched hands never permeating
The tender miasma coating reality
A world beyond seperated through veils
Drifting on cold winds, swept in its hold

Voice stolen from mine lungs as vapour
Dissipating and taken to blackening skies
Solemn in disquiet watching Autumns fade
A fallen star whimpering in its descent
Whose presence none did look above to see

Shedding the remainder of the light
My pyre growing darker with dancing embers
The creeping of uncalm wraiths enclosing
Sweeping me up in icy tendrils of embrace
Held tenderly as chilling spells enraptured myself

The deafening miasma did grow bolder
The world beyond grew ever more distant
It's warm promises and bewitching sigts
Fading in murk as rejected light did leave
There I knelt as one in the dark cloistered in mine night

Shades and spectres dance in my vision
Mocking my solitude with courting gestures
Glistening in the sun in coloured realms
That my feeble grasp could never reach
Confined as I am to my graven prison
