Desperate screams to embittered darkness
Ripped from the throat by oppressive winds
Air stolen from lungs with immaterial hands
Collapse into the earth, regretful eyes dark
With trepidation, steps are taken from light
Grey shadowy clouds coat the enflamed skies
Marking the point where chaos embraced
And enshrouding hands reached into oblivion
The black wispy tendrils of hatred entangle
Piercing the night-time, haunting those who sleep
A spectral abysm that forever creeps forward
Encircling the heart and tightening its grasp
Deeper into the unknown, fragile steps occur
Guided by fleeting lights, and glassy whispers
With trepidation, falling into blackness again
Unable to rise and breath, join the dark eternally
In the dark grey ruins
Night falls upon a dying cold sun that bleeds
This is where the soul flees to die in the dirt
With trepidation, the body falls into the void

It rises again, the twisted sense of dread
Blossoming into ash laden skulls
Eyes turned towards the depths of hatred
Where the darkness once was content
Whispered curses and prayers unknown
To try and summon remaining hope
From the chasm where it lay to die
Castrated and betrayed, dwelling in loathing
The wound is reopened, tasting despair
An offering to the uncaring shadowy sky
True treachery, unbeknownst it came out
Puncturing the soul, and draining it of light
It rises again, the twisted sense of dread
Blossoming into ash laden skulls
Eyes turned towards the depths of hatred
Where the darkness once was content
The whispers of the night wind
Commands the heart to cease and die
Lest life continue and consume it all
Transform under the moon into nothing
The wound is reopened, betrayed again
Summoning annihilation from infernos maw
Treachery came from cross and the spire
Raping and defiling the soul, and draining it of light

Gods die, under the decaying temples touch
Bodies wither and collapse, visions of eternity blinding
Enter the kingdom of bone, where time reigns undying
Dead hands reach from the decaying light
To claw at the wretched, hated living souls

A dismal dreary universe, devoid of breath
The accursed cold grounds of the earth
A grave formed of the dying breaths
Of thousands falling into unknown spheres
Absconding from the abyss of existence
Lamenting final prayers pulled away
Torn and reformed on funeral winds
Falling into realms forgotten by man
Lit by solitary light of the bloodied moon
Aeons pass in swirling vortexes
Formed of bloodied sigils and scars
On suicidal abysmal wings reborn in dust
Shepherding in the tormented rebirth of eternity
Stars fade and the mind frays and dies
Gods die, under the decaying temples touch
The bloodied moon shines high, agonised screams fade

Raising my arms towards the birthing sun
Dragged away from the shadowy realms
To bask into the dawning glow around
A world unknown to those once blind
Trees release an emerald glow outward
That falls upon our faces made glistening
Turned into jewels under the suns gaze
Standing in the light, warmth returning
Where I once stood, such joy did not exist
Here amongst the world of living souls
Where I followed your glow through night
The shadows have retreated once more
Part 2: Dark
Your tears fall as rain, nourishing
Falling on my face as I rise to see
From the bottom of this pit I stare
Your eyes glisten as crystal under the moon
Turning away from your gaze
Towards the ensnaring shadows
And the pull of the pale starlight
Illuminating my decaying realm of despair
Nightmares begin shaping reality
And the light grows fainter
Here I stand betwixt light and dark
Pulled one way, and then the other
And here I stand betwixt light and dark
Bewitched by the blackness surrounding
But dragged towards light by glistening souls
Before falling once more into the beneath

Carrying forward the seed into the light
Eyes open to witness the turn of the sun
And hands stretch forth towards the earth
Turning towards the black cascade
Bloodied and broken bodies contorted
To witness the endless expanse of oblivion
Miniscule figures under the hand of Gods
Celestial chariot pulling the moon forward
Stars cast recklessly into the blackness
Hands reach from the earth towards the deep
Portraits in the heavens brought downward
Sacred fires eternally burning in shadow
Blind children wrapped in blankets of stars
Eyes turned towards the endless expanse
The hand of the Gods brought down again
Collapsing upon the obsidian steps
Turning towards the black cascade
The seed decayed and crumbled to dust
The hands grow old and wither in light

Discarded eyes watch the fires dwindling
As heavens fall and become dust in time
Phantasmal celestials fade into unlit past
Celestial chariot chasing the dwindling sun

The light of the black candle flickers
Casting a growing shadow across the way
Illuminating dead eyes, crystallised
Shimmering in the tears forming in ice
Unhallowed vastlands, formed by memory
Skeletal forests, reaching into the fog
A world of desolation forming inside the frame
Reaching ever outward, spreading its wings
Jaded eyes and melancholic thoughts
Growing ever colder, dejected and lifeless
The hands reach forward, clutching the fog
Seeping from the vessel, empty and unformed
The black candle goes out, wispy smoke rises
Desolation moves ever forward, spreading
The vessel falls to its knees, dust trailing beneath
The wings envelop the frame, the cycle complete
