The Old Ones that dwell between the stars

For the millennias which they have slept
To reclaim and destroy once more

Through my dreams the voice calls
The awakening of a long slumbering God
Through my nights I feel the beckoning
Answering the summons of the dreamer
Universal visions of horror in infinite black seas
Floating through mystic swirling sights
Of towers long lost to the hold of the deep
Emerald hazed, through glowing mossy monoliths
The great sleeper continues its lucid summoning
Drawing me further to witness its mysteries
Drifting through labyrinthine palaces
which have not bore gaze in millennia
Twisting avenues past cyclopean masonry
To the great structure at its core I am called
Before a great door I find myself frozen
Terror gripped at its ancient splendour
Carved iconography of nightmares untold
Beings whom mortals weren't meant to see
Abysms of shrieking and immemorial lunacy
Distant voices begin their hateful chant
Growing louder and forceful in malevolence
The worship of an ancient being long dead
To raise it from this drowned necropolis
And spread a loathsome gospel of insanity
Subterranean dementia of aeons lost
Mausoleum of the unknowable and unholy
Slimy sheen's glistening on strange places

A diadem of heavenly bodies descended
To crown my nocturnal queen
I kneel before her beauty as she gazed unto me
With an enrapturing look and dawn in her eyes
I abandon all mortal ties and fall into her grace

How deeply enraptured I am by your spirit
