Bitter thoughts whispered
Outwards into the darkness
Asphyxiated by the chasm
Of the winds and the rain
Red stained skies dwindle
Into the blackness of night-time
Illuminated by the rising moon
The dreariness is never ending
Caressed by the dying embers
The tempest continues outward
Lashing rain drowning all sight
Withering illusions in my eyes
Unable to walk alone again
Engulfed by my melancholia
Icy winds pull at my frail being
Tearing my spirit into the abyss
There will be no peace ever here
Dark clouds form on the edges
Beckoning into the bleakness
Engulfed and devolved
Lost to the winds of time
Swallowed by the shadows

Lightning perpetually strikes down
Endless crashing cacophony of sound
Human colour fades, and light dies
Into the bewildering darkness it fades
Tortured and torched voices scream
Abysmal depths are flooded again
And plundered till nothing remains
Symphonies of agony sounding out
Calling to the dead souls that rise
A genocide of life beginning at the end
Crucified minds and mutilated spirits
Ripped out of sundered restless beings
Raped of humanity by endless misfortune
Cursed revelations spawned of degeneration
The leviathan of misery gnaws at the bone
Internal forces bid farewell to light
Dreams darkened by twilight endless
Fade into oblivion, die and rot
Consumed and marked by shadow
On the astral corpse of a dead sun
Guided by anguish and old sins
Enslaved by disdain for existence
Drowning in flooded abysmal depths
Castles of utopia brought down

Eternally falling deeper and deeper
Into the suffocating emptiness below
Into the fire that eternally burns within
Scalding flames violating the skies
The darkness was always there
Rising till it has consumed it all
Blackening and destroying
Till it became ashes in the wind
Far beyond the walls of safety
Forged of shattered bone and pain
And layered in broken angel wings
Despairing starved hands break skin
The promises of a grand deceiver
Have led them down a burning road
A cross bathed in the tears of the masses
Marks the point at which we were lost
All that was begun is ending
As the fire rises to consume
All that was planned is dying
As the sky fades to blackness
The spire that raped the skies
Is brought down to the dirt
Embraced by mulling corpse hands
The grand deceiver is bleeding
Splinters of shadows forced deep inside
Breaking the skin, and infecting the flesh
With terrible words and perverse ideals
A crown of scars heralding my demise
Dragging you down, further than ever
Into the worm infested earth, rotting

This is existence as you know it
Everything that was is now not
Autumnal colours fade to black
As the call of the void grows strong
And the darkness grows eternal
The midnight ravens call out
Towards the forgotten depths
That swallow the light cast down
And darkness covers the soul
Singing the funereal dirge of life
The abysmal pendulum swings
Casting judgement upon the soul
Beckoning the end on black wings
To come and lay its hand upon you

A spirit of torment screaming out
Painted in the blood of its sins
Bearing the wounds of the darkness
Lacerated veins witness force
Forged of the fabric of night
Violent and jagged edges
Slice at the edges of the sun
To remove the light from us
The screams dying away at last
Into silent despair at this life
Phantom pains become reality
Regretful wanderer of empty silence
Shed the skin to receive the world
And bear the agonised fruit of life
Nightmares scratch claw marks deep
A worm that seeks the light
Worthless creature of pity
Creeping back from its shame
To crawl into the throat of purity
And hide from wretched light
A deep, violent self-extinction
Born from the womb of horrors
Ghosts of hope, raped of bodies
Shed the skin, to receive the end
Free the guilt and pain bleeding
Vanishing eyes from empty skulls
Plucked tongues, ripped and tossed
The burdens of consciousness abandoned
Raising limbs forged of wounds higher

Solace has departed once more
Embraced by the cold arms of grief
Her smile painted with silver brushes
Forged of frozen crystal funereal tears
Of those left behind in February snows
Life is killing him once again, sinking deeper
Dreams become nightmares filling the void
Utterances of forgotten prayers long dead
Memories of misplaced smiles since drowned
In the tears and rain that fell from the sky
As the sun lowers to mourn the end
And night rises, draining misleading sunsets
Closing your eyes to see the darkening light
As the dawning moon reflects on the grave
Where your disease and trauma still fester
As the flesh becomes lost and disposed
The soul no longer lingering in wooden prison
The pain returned unto the abusing world
Leaving only memories to rot in open wounds
Cancerously growing to claim remaining lights
Malignant prophecies of human suffering
Irrelevant and sad lives become mere shadow
Inner sanctuary, hiding from dawning realities
Are torn down, raped once more of meaning
Mourning the end of another forgotten soul
Weeping for nothing, and for no-one
Last thoughts leave, drift from the world
Becoming dwindling starts, fading to apathy
As obsidian pupils observe the passing aeons
And the voices of the wind become whispers
Malignant prophecies of human suffering
Irrelevant identities become mere shadow
Inner sanctuary, hiding from the abuses
Is torn down, raped of all its meaning
And its end is shown in shattered memory

Far beyond the walls of all safety in a land
Disgusting as the highest of God's heavens
Starved hands keep appearing - clawing
Tearing shreds out of the flesh and mind
And as the sands crawl their unchanging path
All means seemingly focus towards the end
There is no reason to live anymore when the reason cannot be attained
But the solace lay beyond the darkness
In a land where light and life dwell
Yet soon will come death and the numbing fires
Only then will my mind lie to rest
For I am alone on this world
Enslaved and surrounded by the living dead
Yet still I stand tall as I bleed
Deep from within the cuts upon my skin

Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defenses
Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender

And listen to the music of the night
Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar!
